APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION WITH MEDICAL COUNCIL  OF INDIA BY SUCH PERSONS WHO ALREADY POSSESS  PERMANENT REGISTRATION/ ADDITIONAL  QUALIFICATION REGISTRATION WOULD NOT BE ENTERTAINED.

Subject : Cancellation of Provisional registration No.21479, dated
 15.05.2007.

Madam,

          On further scrutiny of your application dated 09.04.2007 and documents regarding  MBBS – 2007, it is noted that  you had  passed MBBS  from Universal College of Medical Sciences, Tribhuvan University and not from Institute of Medicine, Maharajgunj, Tribhuvan University which is recognized u/s 12(2) of the IMC Act, 1956 as students passing from this institute are exempted from appearing in the Screening Test from National Board of Examination, New Delhi. It is also noted that you have made mis-declaration/mis-statement of facts about Institute of Medicine which is not correct.

          Since the Executive Committee of the Council at its meeting held on 02.12.2006 & 03.03.2007 has decided not to grant provisional/permanent registration to the candidates passing from Universal College of Medical Sciences, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, accordingly provisional registration granted to you vide above reference is hereby cancelled.
